Day 6 - San Francisco, Mozilla and Pier 39

Today we went to San Francisco for the first time! As we approached the destination we could figure out it was San Francisco because of the incredibly big skyscrapers and the incredibly congested city traffic. The view of the Pacific Ocean was mesmerizing to all of us.
After parking the car we headed to the San Francisco headquarters of Mozilla. We waited a few minutes for our guide, Mr. Will Barkis (Gigabit Developer Evangelist). While we waited, we witnessed a live conference of the Mozilla employees with other headquarters from all around the world. It felt so interesting to see everybody gather with their laptops and talk like the other person was right there - it reminded us of the IT employees from the movies and TV series.
When our guide was done with his meeting, he showed us around the building, after which we sat down in the main conference room where we interviewed him.

Later on, we went to pier 39 and split up into groups to visit and enjoy the beautiful panorama offered by the bay. In the end, we returned to the hotel, where once again the boy worked out and the girls spent some quality time with their TV series.

Later on, we went to pier 39 and split up into groups to visit and enjoy the beautiful panorama offered by the bay. In the end, we returned to the hotel, where once again the boy worked out and the girls spent some quality time with their TV series.

Azi am mers pentru prima dată în San Francisco! Așa cum ne apropriam de destinație, ne puteam da seama că acel oras era San Francisco datorită zgârie norilor și a traficului orășean incredibil de congestionat. Vedearea Oceanului Pacific ne-a hipnotizat pe toți.
După ce am parcat mașina, ne-am îndreptat către sediul Mozilla din San Francisco. Am așteptat câteva minute după ghidul nostru, Dl Will Barkis (Dezvoltator Evanghelist de Gigabit). Cât timp am așteptat, am asistat la o conferință în timp real a angajaților de la Mozilla (din San Francisco) și a altor sedii din toata lumea a aceleaiași companii. Am trăit o experiența intensă de a-i vedea pe toți cum se adunau la un loc cu laptopul-ire lor și vorbesc cu persoane din celălalt capăt de lume ca și cum ar fi fost in aceiași încăpere - ne-a amintit de angajații firmelor de computere (IT) din filme și seriale.
Când ghidul nostru a ieșit din ședință ne-a facut turul cladirii, după care ne-am așezat jos într-una din sălile principale de conferințe, unde i-am luat și un interviu.
Video-ul cu interviul este o munca in progres - ne pare rău și vom face tot posibilul să îl postăm cât mai curând - MULȚUMIM pentru considerare!
Mai târziu, am mers pana la digul 39 unde ne-am împărțit in grupuri pentru a vizita și a ne bucura de panorama frumoasă oferită de golf. În cele din urmă ne-am întors la hotel, unde din nou băieții s-au bucurat de privilegiile sălii de fitness, iar fetele au petrecut un timp calitativ cu serialele lor.
Când ghidul nostru a ieșit din ședință ne-a facut turul cladirii, după care ne-am așezat jos într-una din sălile principale de conferințe, unde i-am luat și un interviu.
