Day 8 - Google, Android, & INTEL
Today we went to the headquarters of Google; unfortunately, we could not go inside and see how the people work and where they work because there is an off limits policy of the company. On the other side, we were allowed to wonder around and take some pictures with the attractions of the company.
Afterwards, we went to the INTEL museum where our tour guide, Miss Regina - a very charismatic and great speaker - presented us the history of the company and told us about how it was necessary to have one CEO that was very bright on the technical side and one CEO who brings inspiration and charisma. It was another museum that allowed you to interact with the machineries and the computers - we even learned how to write our names in binary code. Moreover, we went into a classroom of the museum and we were given puzzle balls which we had to assemble ourselves and write the instructions in a way that even a 3 year-old could manage to follow. It took us some time, but thank God the people actually writing those things are good at what they are doing!!!

Azi am fost la sediul Google; din păcate, nu am avut acces la birourile din-ăuntru pentru a avea posibilitatea de a observa cum lucreaază oamenii și cum este mediul de lucru, deoarece au o poliță strictă pe această temă. Pe celaltă parte, am avut posibilitatea să ne plimbă prin împrejurimile sediului și să fotografiem atracțiile companiei.
Dupăaceea, am mers la muzeul INTEL, unde ghidul nostru, D-șoara Regina - o personalitate foarte carismatică și o bună oratoare - ne-a prezentat istoria companiei și ne-a spus despre cât este de important ca o companie să aibă un președinte al companiei să fie foarte bun pe partea tehnică, iar celălalt să aducă inspirație și carismă. A fost încă un muzeu în care aveai posibilitatea să interacționezi cu mașinăriile și computerele - am și învățat cum să ne scriem numele in cod bianr. Și mai mult decât atât, am mers într-o sală de clasă din muzeu, unde am primit mingi puzzle pe care a trebuit să le asmblăm noi înșine și să scriem instrucțiunile într-un așa fel încât chiar și un copil de trei ani sa le poată îndeplini. Ne-a luat ceva timp, dar mulțumim lui Dumnezeu că oamenii care lucreză în acest domeniu chiar sunt buni la ceea ce fac!!!
