Day 7

Day 7 - NASA + HP

Today we woke up fast and got ready faster, because we couldn't wait to visit the NASA Ames Research Centre! We witnessed the American experience of being an astronaut. After having a quick look at the machineries and the experiments, we stopped for a few minutes and watched a movie about the life of an astronaut in space, presented by one of the very astronauts on the ship! It was very interesting to find out so much about their lives during those six months. After this, we started to look around at all the details of the robots, the spaceships, and that's when our interest was captivated by a man who started to tell us more detailed stories about each computer and spaceship. Finally, before leaving we watched another documentary narrated by the one and only, Whoppi Goldberg! It pushed our space knowledge to a whole new level!
   
Afterwards, we headed to a very special place - a place that will definitely be remembered forever: the garage where the Hewlett Packard (HP) company started. Yet another inspirational story; Bogdan said that maybe he should buy a garage - a great joke, or maybe a good idea?!

  Azi ne-am trezit repede și ne-am pregătit și mai repede, deoarece de abia așteptam să vizităm Centrul de Cercetare al NASA! Am fost martori ai experienței americane de a fi astronaut. După ce ne-am uitat foarte repede la mașinăriile și experiementele de acolo, ne-am oprit pentru câteva minute și am urmărit un film despre viața unui astronaut în spațiu, prezentată chiar de unul dintre astronauții de pe navă! A fost foarte interesant să aflăm atât de multe despre viața lor pe timmpul a șase luni în spațiu. După aceasta, am început să ne uităm prin-prejur la toate detaliile roboților, a navelor, și chiar atunci un bărbat mai în vârstă ne-a captivat interesul deoarece a început să ne povestească în detaliu istoria tuturor mașinăriilor din muzeu. Într-un final, înainte să plecăm, am vizionat încă un documentar, narat de unica, Whoppi Goldberg! Ne-a împins cunoștințele despre spațiu la un nou nivel!

Apoi, ne-am îndreptat către un loc foarte special - un loc care cu siguranță va fi amintit pentru totdeauna: garajul unde compania Hewlett Packard (HP) a început. Încă o poveste inspiraționalăș Bogdan a sugerat că poate ar trebui să iși cumpere și el un garaj - o glumă bună, sau poate o idee bună?!
